1. Before opening the clinic every day

Water and gas inspection: Check whether the input air pressure is within the range of 0.55~0.6MPa, and check whether the voltage is normal.
Dental chair startup inspection:Turn on the one-button water, gas, and electricity switch on the side of the instrument tray.
Check if the oral light, chair lifting, and tilting functions work properly.
Water pipe flushing work: Turn on the water supply switch, take out the three-purpose gun, press the water spray button at the spittoon, take out the mobile phone tube and step on the foot control panel, and continue to flush for 20-30 seconds.

• Put the working end of high-speed dental handpieces and low-speed dental handpiece pipelines, three-way gun pipelines, and scaler connecting pipes (without working tips and scaler handles) into a container and drain for 2 to 3 minutes.
• Use strong and weak saliva suction tubes to suck 800 to 1000 ml of purified water from the cup, and rinse the spittoon with 400 to 500 ml of purified water for 2 minutes.
• Fill the water storage bottle with purified water and open the water system to flush the pipeline for 30 seconds.

  

2. After each treatment

To avoid cross-infection, the clinic must clean and disinfect all patient-contact surfaces and the areas used by the doctor after each treatment.

• 1. Clinics must sterilize all instruments – including three-way syringe nozzles and scaler tips – using 135°C autoclave cycles for 15 minutes to achieve validated pathogen elimination.
• 2. Clean the dirt on the spittoon filter, turn on the spittoon flushing switch to drain until it stops automatically, and rinse the dirt in the spittoon cylinder.
• 3. Use clean water or a disinfectant diluted with 100ml/L hypochlorous acid in a ratio of 1:1 to water to wipe and disinfect the surface of the dental chair, such as the headrest, seat cushion, and armrest. If there is an anti-fouling film, it is recommended to replace the anti-fouling film.
  – Wiping principle: from top to bottom, from clean area to contaminated area. Fold the disinfection cloth in half after wiping, change the surface after wiping each part, and wipe with the “Z” method or “parallel method” (if the area is too small after folding, the disinfection cloth needs to be replaced).

  

3. After completing daily work

After a busy day of treatment, the clinic needs to do a good job in three aspects: cleaning. Disinfection of the treatment work surface, and disinfection of the pipeline.

• 1. Clean the saliva suction filter, remove the filter screen, clean it and reinstall it.
• 2. Clean the tool tray dirt collection cup to prevent dirt from remaining on the surface of the dirt collection cup.
• 3. Use a disinfectant diluted with 100ml/L hypochlorous acid in a ratio of 1:1 to water to wipe and disinfect the surfaces of the dental chair. Including the oral lamp, side box, spittoon, headrest, seat cushion, armrest, etc.
• 4. Turn off the one-button water, gas and electricity switch on the side of the instrument tray to turn off the water, electricity and gas.

4. Work every other day

During the work every other day, it is necessary to disinfect the pipes of the dental chair. Therefore, choosing a dental chair with a one-button disinfection function can greatly facilitate the disinfection and cleaning work of the clinic.
If the dental chair you purchased has a one-button disinfection function. It is recommended to disinfect the pipes every two days.

Disinfection method:
Fill the disinfection water bottle with disinfectant.
Insert the mobile phone tube, three-purpose gun, dental scaler, and suction handles into the disinfection box.
Press the one-button disinfection button on the main control.
The system will shut down automatically after disinfection, no need to wait.
